Bugesera FC sell Moussa Omar to Sofapaka for Rfw12, 7m
AZAM Rwanda Premier League side, Bugesera FC has sold the Burundian center defender Moussa Omar for Rwf12, 750, 000 million.
Bugesera have been in talks with Sofapaka after Moussa impressed in Cecafa senior challenge cup which was lifted by Kenya while Moussa managed to guide Burundi on fourth place and Sofapaka will pay 15,000 dollars for Omar’s services .
Moussa Omar signed a two-year deal with Bugesera from Athletico Olympic. Sofapaka planned to sign him after impressive form in Cecafa. The news was confirmed by the president of the club, Jean Claude Gahigi.
Gahigi said “it is true we have talked with them and have agreed to sell him. He will join them anytime from now. What remained is to pay what we have agreed on,” Gahigi stressed.
Gahigi confirmed that they will get 15,000 dollars which is Rfw12 750 000m. Bugesera will get RwF8M while Moussa will receive Rfw4, 750,000m for transfer fee. Moussa Omar played for Inter Star, Flambeaux de l’Est, Athletico Olympic and Buja city.
After selling Moussa, Bugesera, signed Nigerian striker, Rafael who will replace the long time injury Samson Ikechukwu.
Gahigi added, “Samson has injury so we are going to see how we can treat him but we have replaced him and we will sign another center defender before the transfer window closed”.
Bugesera is sitting on 11th place with 10 points after ten rounds. Bugesera also is looking for new head coach after sacking Ally Bizimungu and the new coach will work with Maurice ‘Maso’ Nshimiyimana. Among of the coaches they are in talks with include Gicumbi head coach Godefroid Okoko.
