Tropicale Amissa Bongo: Sovac-Natura4ever replaces Mauritius
After the withdrawal of the national team of Mauritius who preferred to give up due to the lack of preparation of its young riders, the organizers of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo have decided to invite the Algerian Team Sovac-Natura4Ever to maintain the participation to fifteen formations.
This UCI Continental Team has strengthened strongly during the winter with the presence of famous riders such as the Italian Davide Rebellin or the Algerian Youcef Reguigui who was always this season by the World Tour Dimension Data Team.
Sovac-Natura4Ever will be the 6th professional team at start of the Tropicale Amissa Bongo (15-21 January 2018) alongside Direct-Energie (France), Delko-Marseille Provence-KTM (France), Wilier-Triestina (Italy), Bike Aid (Germany) and Sporting Tavira (Portugal) against the 9 African national teams.
The ten national teams are Gabon, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast
Eritrea, Ethiopia, Morocco, Sovac-Natura4ever, Rwanda and Tunisia while other professional teams are Direct Energie (France), Delko Marseille Provence Ktm (France), Wilier-Tristina (Italy), Sporting Tavira (Portugal), and Bike Aid (Germany).
