Patriots humiliated REG as Espoir continue to gamble

The 2016 National Basketball winners, Patriots humiliated Rwanda Energy Group 75-60 in a thriller game held at Amahoro Indoor Stadium on Friday night.
Before the game, REG were the favourites to win the game, but Patriots looked the better side in defense, shooting and mind game which ended in a 60-75 result.
Henry Mwinuka’s team looked better from the start to the end where the first quarter ended with 6 points of REG while Patriots had 22.
REG recovered in the second quarter to win it with 24-16, but it was again Patriots who managed to win the third quarter with a 9-point deference, which made the game easier for them and win the third with 14-23 while the last quarter ended with 16 of REG to 14 of Patriots.
HAGUMITWALI STEVEN of PATRIOTS was the top scorer of the game with 17 Points, followed by his teammates and new signing MAKIADI MICHAEL with 15 Points.
However, Espoir continued losing many games after failing to beat IPRC-KIGALI early on Friday.
IPRC-KIGALI won the game with a 12-point difference, after IPRC-KIGALI won 70 with 58 for ESPOIR.
Espoir were the better side ihe first quarter after winning it with 15-11, second quarter ended with 14-14, and they went on to win the third one with 19-20 before IPRC-KIGALI humiliated the former champions 26 with 9 which helped them to win the game.
NDOLI Jean Paul (IPRC-KIGALI) netted 17 points, NIJIMBERE GUIBERT (IPRC-KIGALI) hit 15 Points while SANGWE ARMEL (ESPOIR) scored 15 Points.
